Guadalupe River Park & Gardens is always free and open to all

Daily Hours: Sunrise until one hour after sunset. The Guadalupe River Trail opens one hour before sunrise and closes one hour after sunset.

Rotary PlayGarden and Visitor Center Hours

The Rotary PlayGarden is open Thursday-Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM. The Visitor & Education Center is currently open Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Please check back regularly for updates.

Driving and Transit Directions

The Rotary PlayGarden is located adjacent to the Guadalupe River Park & Gardens Visitor & Education Center and Conservancy office at 438 Coleman Avenue, San Jose, CA 95110. The Park is close to and bisected by many major freeways including 280, 101, 87, and 880. Please use Google Maps or another mapping website to navigate to the specific area of the Park. See below for a list of Trail Access Points and popular landmark cross-streets.

The Park is served by various downtown-area VTA Bus Lines and Light Rail stations and is adjacent to the Diridon Station transit hub, with connections to Caltrain, Amtrak, ACE, and Capitol Corridor trains.

Guadalupe River Trail Access Points

The San Jose Heritage Rose Garden, Historic Orchard, and Courtyard Garden are accessible from Taylor Street, between Coleman Avenue and Highway 87.

The Seymour Street Parking Lot at the end of Seymour Street, east of Walnut Street, is accessible from Coleman Avenue or Taylor Street.

Arena Green and the Children’s Carousel are accessible from Santa Clara Street and Autumn Street, across from the SAP Center. Please note: The Carousel is currently not in service.

Discovery Meadow, north of the Children’s Discovery Museum at 180 Woz Way, is accessible from San Carlos Street, between Woz Way and Almaden Boulevard.
